You can go back to Windows 7 by using recovery option in Windows This is possible only within the 30 days from the date of upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7. If it has passed 30 days, unfortunately recovery option cannot be used to go back to previous version until fresh install.

It is always the 4th power up that boots successfully into Windows Windows fails to locate drivers on the web and I have no clue what these are or where to get driver, as I do not have original Gateway CDs that came with system. I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better. What happens when you install the driver in Windows 8 compatibility mode? If you have not tried it, we request you to download the Windows 10 drivers and try to install it in compatibility mode and check.
